Happy Trails

Blue and Gray Park Reserve consists of 1,733 acres of oak/hickory hardwood timbers in eastern Jackson County, Mo. It is a popular equestrian destination for trail riding because of its beautiful terrain. Visitors have a great opportunity to study wildlife and enjoy the wilderness.

This park has the real feel of Missouri from days gone by. Trails weave through hardwood timber, as well as rolling prairie. Spring is a special time at Blue and Gray Park, with wildflowers in full bloom and baby critters romping around along the trail. You will be able to see deer and turkey from horseback. Fall is another beautiful time to ride because of the changing leaves.

There are many different trails over all types of terrain. You will cross creeks, ride up and down steep hills, cross open meadows, and skirt crop fields. This park is about four miles west of Lone Jack, Mo.
