Unlike other trail rides, where horses line up and plod through the same route day after day, Show-Me Trail offers an endless variety of rides across some of Missouri’s most pristine natural places. As an Army veteran and a former truck driver, Jeff is no stranger to hard work. When a drunk driver caused a trucking accident that forced Jeff to find a career change, he turned to his passion for horses.
Show-Me Trail Ride Outfitter offers energetic, responsive trail horses suitable for both beginners and experienced horse back riders, or you can bring your own horse. No prior riding experience is necessary. Jeff takes great pride in the quality of his mounts, with both stellar bloodlines and temperament.
If you choose to go horse back riding for the long-haul by booking a multiple-day vacation package, you’ll taste some of the best straight cowboy cooking, using a Dutch oven and cast-iron skillet to create a smoky flavor revived from the days of the Old West.
Most importantly, Show-Me Trail Ride Outfitter is all about creating a relaxed and family-centered atmosphere for all who come to join a ride. Often, Jeff will share his own family with you as experienced trail guides. Daughter and step-daughter, Bekka and Mara, are junior guides who come along to help on trail rides. Both have extensive backgrounds in horses and will be more than happy to help answer questions during the ride!
