Here at Show-Me Trail, we have the space and knowledge to care for some of these horses. However, we do not have the financial resources to take this on alone. I have met a lot of very good and gracious folks since we have opened our doors, and I wondered if some of these folks would be able to help out.

Would you or your family be willing to adopt a rescue horse? The initial adoption fee would be $175, to cover transporting the horse up to Show-Me Trail, a vet-check, and feed. After that, we would hope for sponsorship of $100 per month for a year to give us time to find them a new home. For your participation we will send you photos of the horse that you have helped and keep you updated on it’s condition. You will be able to come visit and groom your adopted horse (by appointment). If we see that the horse is safe to ride, we invite you to come for a free trail ride on your adopted horse, and you can bring a guest to ride one of our fine horses free of charge.

I need to know ASAP if you are willing to help. Time is running out for these horses. Together we can make a difference for a few of these horses but we have to act now before it is too late. I am working on get together some pictures and information about the individual horses.
